    Description

    job summary:
    A Systems Engineer is needed for a multinational aerospace corporation that designs, manufactures, and sells airplanes, rotorcraft, rockets, satellites, and telecommunications equipment in the Saint Louis, MO area. The Systems Engineering position entails applying interdisciplinary, collaborative approaches to plan, design, and optimize complex systems while coordinating requirements, integrating technical parameters, and ensuring compatibility.

    responsibilities:

    • Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify a system of systems and system solutions.

    • Evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements.

    • Integrate technical parameters and ensure compatibility of physical, functional, and program interfaces.

    • Perform various analyses to optimize the total system of systems and system architecture.

    • Consider affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, and other quality factors.

    • Develop planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements management processes, risk management, issue resolution, and technology readiness assessment processes.

    • Resolve cross-functional technical issues.
    Experience:
    • 8+ years of experience as a Model-Based System Engineer (MBSE).

    • 8+ years of experience in developing and deriving requirement specifications.
