    Imaging Service Engineer 2

    at

    Health First located in Melbourne, FL.

    is a premier community health system located along the beautiful Space Coast in Brevard County, Florida.


    Health First operates four hospitals—Cape Canaveral Hospital, Holmes Regional Medical Center, Palm Bay Hospital and Viera Hospital—and is home to the county's only Level II Trauma Center.

    Health First also offers outpatient and wellness services, including fitness centers, home care, hospice care, aging services, and family pharmacies.

    The successful candidate will:
    Test electronic, radiologic, and mechanical equipment

    Perform preventive maintenance inspections

    Repair or replace defective parts

    Maintain accurate records of repairs, calibration, and tests

    We are looking for candidates who have:

    Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting

    Decision making capabilities to troubleshoot and repair medical imaging devices

    Knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and basic networking theory

    Carestream, Hologic Mammography, Fluoroscopy, X-Ray service experience (preferred)

    Scheduling flexibility to participate in an on-call rotation schedule

    While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.

    Qualifications & Requirements
    Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment

    Basic Functional Experience - 5 years of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training
