    Description
    (Home Office)AGRILAND FS is looking for an organized, self-directed, and sales-driven Manager with good agronomy and excellent seed technical skills. This individual will coach, train and lead the marketing efforts of professional crop specialists to grow our seed business. Pay based on experience but will reward past success in our industry. Excellent incentives available.


    Core responsibilities:
    Profitable seed and trait sales growthConduct sales calls and targeted grower meetings with Crop SpecialistsDevelop and train Crop Specialists on seed selling technique and product informationDevelop, implement, and guide seed marketing activities throughout the year, with a focus on customer retention and expanding the number of seed customersAdvise and coordinate ordering for each location by working with Procurement Manager and supply administration personnelWhat we need from you:Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus 5-7 years of sales experience prefer an agriculture majorWorking knowledge of seed, fertilizer, and crop protection productsKnowledge of market analysis, pricing strategies, and supply forecastsSkilled in sales leadership, closing techniques, and working in a team-oriented environmentProfessional communication, time management, decision-making, and organizational skillsMust have and maintain a valid driver's license and able to travel overnight, on a limited basisAble to lift seed bags up to 70 poundsWhat we offer our team:Home Office plus company truck and computerCompetitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, and moreSolid retirement future with a 100% company-funded Pension Plan at no cost to you, plus an additional 401k with company matchAttractive compensation, plus recognition and excellent pay incentives for good job performancePaid time off, sick pay, and paid holidaysAbility to grow a great career with a stable, financially sound, and growing companyAre you a good match to join the AGRILAND FS Team as a District Sales Manager in seed?
