    Requirement: DevOps Engineer (W2 only, not a C2C)

    • Location: Austin, TX
    • Mode of work: Remote

    Description:

    For this role, we are seeking an individual with a solid background in Enterprise Java development, along with expertise in creating Enterprise CI/CD solutions from the ground up. Experience with SOA, Event Driven, MVC, Django, Serverless, and Spring frameworks is essential. Familiarity with evolving technologies like Quarkus and GraalVM is a plus. As a member of the DEVSECOPS team, you will lead solution design and architectural decisions at both strategic and tactical levels, outlining the roadmap for the team. Hands-on experience in implementing advanced CI/CD solutions is a must, utilizing tools such as Gitlab/GitHub, Ansible, Ansible Tower Jenkins, and Terraform for automation. Proficiency in scripting languages such as bash, shell, Perl, Python, Groovy, and JavaScript is required.

    The ideal candidate will represent the DEVOPS team in application modernization and cloud migration projects, offering guidance and direction. Collaboration with other technologists in various areas like Oracle, Java, SQL tools, XML, LDAP, Splunk, Dynatrace, ISAM, IBM MQ, and Middleware application servers is essential. Experience in deploying COTS products on Kubernetes using helm charts is crucial. In the architecture and design role, you may also participate in discovery sessions with business and IT partners, technology vendors, and business analysts to create new scalable and secure Enterprise IT solutions or enhance existing ones.

    Candidates for this role should have experience working in Agile SDLC. Quick learning abilities, efficient time management, handling multiple projects simultaneously, strong communication, and relationship building skills with technical teams and executive management are key attributes needed for this role.

    • Architecture, design, development, and integration of tools and technologies for delivering new end-to-end enterprise solutions or enhancing existing CI/CD solutions
    • Participation in discovery sessions with business partners, technology vendors, and business analysts to design and develop new scalable and secure Enterprise IT solutions
    • Engagement in design sessions for application modernization to cover DEVOPS areas
    • Involvement in DEVOPS roadmap development
    • Participation in Agile SDLC activities like discovery, standups, retrospectives, etc.
    • Integrating with tools like Service Now using available APIs
    • Supporting concurrent application development for multiple future releases as part of development work scoping
