    Job Summary

    CAMP Systems International seeks a versatile Jr. DevOps Engineer for their EIS business. The role involves enhancing CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code goals, and facilitating software delivery to their customer base. As part of this role, you will handle development/test environments, collaborating with various teams to achieve common objectives. Are you ready to advance your career with us?

    Responsibilities

    • Manage software and database deployments to Staging and Production environments
    • Ensure optimal performance and uptime of all production applications and systems
    • Automate processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability
    • Create and maintain Development, QA, and Staging environments
    • Implement high availability and disaster recovery measures for production systems
    • Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to meet or exceed SLAs
    • Assist in diagnosing and resolving production issues

    Requirements

    • BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields
    • 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
    • Proficient in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Perl
    • Familiarity with CI tools such as Azure DevOps, Team City, and Octopus
    • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
    • Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker, AWS ECS, and Kubernetes
    • Working experience with Git for source control
    • Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) is advantageous
    • Strong communication, organization, and project management skills
    • Demonstrated ability to handle mission-critical environments
    • Capable of working collaboratively towards shared goals
    • Professional attitude and demeanor
    • Background in development is a bonus
