Description

We are looking for someone to join our team as a Warehouse Associate. In this role, you will ensure a safe working environment, manage outgoing and incoming shipments, and maintain accurate cycle counts and material handling. Our ideal candidate has some knowledge of inventory management, shipping, handling, and experience in customer service and purchasing. Responsibilities

Receive shipments, verify correct quantities to shipping documents
Accurately record shipment information in the company system
Report shipment discrepancies and issues to Customer Service Manager
Accurately fill orders using shelf inventory and safely package materials for shipping
Utilize third-party logistics software to generate shipments
Safely operate a forklift, pallet jack, and hand carts to move materials
Appropriately store materials in the correct warehouse locations
Perform inventory counts, identify, and record discrepancies
Work with internal departments to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
Comply with all safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment, including always wearing the proper PPE, safely handling materials, tools, and chemicals, and reporting unsafe work conditions or equipment immediately

Requirements

Able to work with little to no supervision to complete assigned tasks
Good written and oral communication skills and excellent organizational skills
Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word
Good interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to sit or stand for long periods
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
1-3 years of experience in warehousing, shipping, or receiving
Understanding of inventory management is desirable
Successfully pass the required pre-employment background check and drug screen
