- Verify timesheets for completeness and accuracy, coordinating corrections with managers.
- Conduct audits of timecards, importing and balancing hours from the Time System.
- Review and process pays in accordance with state regulations and company policies.
- Calculate overtime, pay rate differentials, and other applicable special pay calculations.
- Execute stop payments and direct deposit reversals as necessary.
- Prepare and balance pay data and manual adjustment batches.
- Complete pay transactions, including leaves of absence, transfers, job status changes, and terminations.
- Calculate and process manual checks as needed.
- Validate payroll preview data using various reports and Excel templates, ensuring corrections before transmission.
- Meet payroll transmission deadlines.
- Investigate discrepancies effectively, make appropriate corrections, and respond promptly to manager and employee inquiries.
- High School Diploma require, Associate's degree in business, accounting or related filed preferred
- 4-5+ years with payroll experience
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel) and accounting software's
- Familiarity with payroll practices and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management.
