    We are currently looking for a Payroll Specialist to expand our current team. The ideal candidate has a background in payrolling 500employees, managing union and non-union employees, and reviewing payroll codes, taxes, rates. The ideal candidate also has experience doing in-house payroll and utilizing Excel.

    Responsibilities
    Process Bi-weekly Payrolls and Semi-monthly Draw
    Ensure that daily/weekly deadlines are completed and addressed accordingly.
    Update and maintain employee benefit deductions, retirement changes, garnishments and miscellaneous changes
    Process manual checks, following federal and state regulations along with other miscellaneous duties
    Audit payroll entries and timesheet entries for accuracy
    Run time reports for payroll processing as needed
    Prepares necessary check requests, stop payments, re-issuance of checks, and supporting documentation to assure timely payment to union locals, benefit programs, and retirement plans as well as to applicable federal, state and county agencies.
