- Analyze and interpret complex customer contracts to determine appropriate billing and revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and company revenue recognition policies.
- Develop close working relationships with the project managers; participate in project update meetings, educate and provide financial guidance as necessary.
- Record transactions for billing activities, adjustments and journal entries related to revenue recognition.
- Monitor past due accounts receivable and work with project managers to resolve project issues that may be holding up payments, contacting customers as necessary.
- Prepare account reconciliations for revenue, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable related accounts.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements related to projects, billing, revenue recognition and related accounting policies.
- Assist with the implementation of system modules within NetSuite related to revenue management.
- Assist in preparation of financial data and support for tax packages, audits, budgets, and periodic forecasts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and related footnotes.
- Assist with the implementation of SOX and ensure compliance.
- Assist with special projects and activities as requested.
- Proficient in MS Office products.
- NetSuite ERP desirable or similar ERP experience.
- Thorough understanding of the order to cash process.
- Technical understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- Ability to analyze information, formulate decisions / recommendations and bring closure to issues.
- Strong GAAP knowledge and importance to public reporting.

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate accounting function of public company preferred.
- Overnight/North America: Less than 10%
- Office Environment - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. May be required to exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
