Description

As a core data center team, we are part of the agile Markant IT family with more than 200 colleagues. Our team is responsible for the disciplines of monitoring/systems management, network, storage, and backup, as well as the entire operation of our state-of-the-art data centers in Offenburg and Appenweier.

Due to continuous growth in our infrastructure and services, new requirements are emerging for our monitoring. In order to meet these demands in the future, we are developing our infrastructure towards automation, including the use of modern technologies.

Our job profile

You define and automate monitoring and alerting rules for our on-premises and international locations, as well as our cloud IT infrastructure.
You are involved in the operation and further development of Markant IT monitoring systems, including cloud integration.
You administer and optimize monitoring/alerting tools and implementation processes.
You develop, test, and optimize APIs, custom monitoring, and automations.
You work together with the team to handle support tickets and perform troubleshooting measures.

Your profile as an applicant

Completed degree in computer science, training as an IT specialist for system integration, or enthusiastic career changer
Strong team player with a structured and solution-oriented approach to work
First experience with IT monitoring tools
