- Design and locate supports for various piping systems.
- Perform calculations associated with pipe support design.
- Familiarity with common pipe support hardware, industry standards, and relevant codes (e.g., AISC & ASME B31.3).
- Coordinate with layout personnel, pipe stress engineers, and other support engineers to ensure quality and cost-effective designs.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with 1 year of related experience (Level 1) or 3 years of related experience (Level 2).
- US citizenship is required per contract requirement.
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Good knowledge of AISC and ASME B31.3 and other relevant industry codes and standards.
- Experience using structural analysis programs.
