    Description

    Position Summary

    As a Piping Support Engineer at our company, you will play a key role in locating and designing supports for various piping systems. You will work closely with layout personnel, pipe stress analysts, and other support engineers to ensure a quality and cost-effective design. Collaboration with different engineering disciplines and vendors is essential for this role.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with layout personnel, pipe stress analysts, and support engineers.
    • Utilize 3D modeling for design work.

    Qualifications & Skills

    Basic Qualifications

    • Level 1: Bachelor's degree in engineering with 1 year of relevant experience.
    • Level 2: Bachelor's degree in engineering with 3 years of relevant experience.
    • Must be a U.S. citizen for contract compliance.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Proficiency in AISC, ASME B31.3, and other industry codes.
    • Experience with structural analysis software.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • EIT certification or PE registration is a plus.
    • Experience with GT STRUDL and Pipe Support Modeling software.
    • Prior involvement in Bechtel and DOD/DOE projects.
