Job DescriptionAlong with the below listed responsibilities, the employee should conduct any other business related to the function as required by his/her supervisor.
Design, plan and execute experiments on pilot scale equipment for plant protein extraction and purification.Organize collection of samples and subsequent analysis. Record and analyze data. Write up scientific reports.
Carryout CIPs and COP procedures to ensure that the plant and all equipment is maintained and clean in accordance with GMPs.
Maintain all documentation (batch records, inventory logs, SOPs, JHAs)Support maintenance program, where necessary, preventative maintenance (PM) checks and minor equipment maintenance.
Cross functional work with R&D teams, communicating effectively to ensure efficient scale up of the process.
Keep order and hygiene in all areas.
Practice safety and continuous improvement.
Experience
Experiences
0-2 years of experience working in a pilot or manufacturing environment
The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
A collaborative team mindset
Aptitude for problem solving in a fast-paced environment
Dedication to safety, health and environment (SHE)
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline
Skills
Experience with equipment cleaning and sanitization processes
Experience with MS suites
Good communication skills, and aptitude to follow complex operational instructions.
Experience and interest in mechanical piping, electricity, or other relevant trade skills
