- Communicate with applicants to understand past and present financial history and to collect information needed to complete lending applications and/or modification paperwork.
- Reviews applications and supporting paperwork for completion and accuracy; resolves any inconsistent, inaccurate, or missing information.
- Counsels applicants and answers any questions about the application, lending, or modification process.
- Submits completed applications to credit analysts for evaluation, verification, and further recommendations.
- Assesses or assists with the assessment of applicant's financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine credit worthiness.
- Maintains current knowledge of applicable financial and credit regulations and best practices.
- Educate customers on the terms and conditions of their loan to ensure a clear understanding.
- Preparing communications such as memos, emails, reports, and other correspondence.
- Completing clerical work, including filing, printing, responding to emails, and organizing and preparing documents.
- Managing data in spreadsheets and reports.
- Keeping records and reports up to date.
- Maintaining electronic and physical document management systems for administrative function of the company.
- Tracking projects and helping to drive team efforts toward shared goals and key deliverables, including taking initiative to follow up on outstanding items.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with the Google Suite of products (Drive, Sheets, Docs)
- 5+ years of administrative support experience
- Ability to work in the office during regular business hours Monday-Friday and occasional special events as needed
- Basic understanding of financing terminology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- 3 - 5 years of experience
- Associate or Bachelors Degree
