Description
Support Student - Any Secondary License (Teacher on Special Assignment)
Full Time school year
Duties:
Work collaboratively with building administration to assist with student discipline, writing suspensions, and attending parent/student meetings. Effectively monitoring student attendance and filing truancy. Working with counselors from the district's traditional high schools to enroll incoming students' referrals. Scheduling staff development, test coordination, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires Any Secondary License.

Start Date:
8/26/24. This position may be filled immediately after 7 posting days (after: 4/15/24) by an appropriately licensed candidate (PELSB Tier 3 or Tier 4 license); or by a candidate eligible for PELSB Tier 2 license (candidate must be enrolled in a teacher prep-program or have a Master's degree in the content area), or OFP (Out of Field Permission) after a 15-day posting period.
