Then the Chit Chat Diner in West Orange, NJ is the place for you! This is definitely not your average diner experience.

    We are seeking exceptional Hosts/Hostesses who can deliver a special and unforgettable dining experience, upholding the highest standards. If you are up for a challenge and the next exhilarating step in your career, then we are looking for you!

    Responsibilities include:
    • Greeting and welcoming guests.
    • Operating registers.
    • Receiving and processing food orders over the phone promptly.
    • Handling dessert orders for servers (for dine-in and to-go) and for customers directly at the register.
    • Seating guests promptly while ensuring servers are not overwhelmed.
    • Arranging tables for large groups.
    • Maintaining cleanliness of the register area consistently.
    • Sanitizing menus.
    • Updating daily specials on menus.
    • Ensuring restrooms are well-supplied.
    • Ability to lift objects.
    • Capability to stand for extended periods.
    • Flexibility to bend as needed.
