    SambaNova Systems is hiring a Principal Solution Test Engineer, AI Systems.     Responsibilities

    • Customer Engagement:
      • Participate in technical deep-dive discussion sessions with customers
      • Assist customer setup evaluation metrics and benchmark for AI Systems
      • Develop test cases for PoC demos for clients based on usage analysis
    • Solution Validation and Triage:
      • Develop comprehensive test strategy and test suite for E2E performance and accuracy of AI Systems
      • Evaluate quality of fine-tune domain specific models (large language model, vision models, etc.) through benchmarking
      • Drive cross-functional triage on any AI System issues
    • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive dashboard and documentation of the model quality and AI System performance and accuracy regression results along with best practices for customer reference.
    • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI/ML and different industries to drive innovation.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Math or related disciplines.
    • 4+ years of proven experience in the AI/ML related fields with a strong track record of solving complex AI System issues across domains.

    Additional Required Qualifications

    • Strong problem solving skills
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • Strong programming skills in Python.
    • Strong data analysis skills.
    • Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks and tools (e.g., PyTorch etc.).
    • Good understandings of LLM models
    • Extensive experience with AI system and model performance and accuracy evaluation
    • Good understanding of computer architecture and AI accelerator architecture
    • Model roofline analysis is a plus

    Annual Salary Range and Level

    The base salary for this position ranges from $150,000/year up to $190,000/year. This range is based on role, level, and location and reflects the salary target for new hires in the US. Individual pay within the range will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's job-related qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
