- An earned master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE- accredited program.
- An earned doctorate degree in Social Work or a closely related field from a regionally accredited college or university.
- A record of research, scholarship, and teaching.
- These full-time positions require at least two years post-MSW full-time professional practice experience.
- At least two years of teaching experience in Social Work Education.
- Prior classroom and online teaching experience, particularly in an urban setting sought.
- Experience in course development using a virtual platform, preferably Canvas.
- Candidates for these positions must have the ability to teach across the curriculum (i.e., Practice, HBSE, Research, and Policy).
- Demonstrates an enthusiastic interest in graduate education.
- Teach a minimum of nine (9) credit hours per academic semester, depending on faculty status
- Participate in distance education
- Advise and mentor graduate students
- Student recruitment and retention
- Engage in scholarship, teaching, and service
- Engage in research and publications
- Demonstrated knowledge of or experience with CSWE accreditation and reaffirmation; success
- Demonstrated commitment to social work and field education
- Track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations
- Evidence of a vision supporting a healthy and collegial work environment
- Must support and advance social justice in community and professional services
