    Job DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a client in the Seattle, WA area to hire a temporary to hire Staff Accountant. If you're a collaborative team player and looking for a new opportunity to showcase your skills, this may be the position for you As a Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the finance department.

    The position requires a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the
    ability to work with minimal supervision. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, financial statement preparation, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes.

    Responsibilities:
    • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciling accounts and preparing journal entries.
    • Conduct periodic audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any accounting discrepancies or issues.
    • Provide support during the annual audit process.
    • Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
    • Proficiency in using accounting software.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Detail-oriented and able to work with a high degree of accuracy.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    The anticipated pay rate range for this position is between $28-$33/hr dependent on experience. For consideration, submit your resume below
