    SUMMARY: Maintenance Manager Position is responsible for various maintenance duties for all of the Indiana Companies in the Maintenance Department. These duties will involve diagnosing and repairing various maintenance issues which includes and is not limited to Extrusion Press Operation, machinery repair, and wiring electrical components and pneumatic to equipment. This position will be responsible to maintain spare parts inventory, and work with Contractors to upgrade various projects. Must be able to supervise and train others in the operation and processes in maintaining the Company equipment.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Diagnose and repair aluminum extrusion press operation, which includes basic hydraulic to complex automated down lines, both electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical work.
    • Maintain spare part inventory.
    • Wire electrical components to equipment.
    • Troubleshoot PLC's, electrical schematics, control circuits, and preventative/predictive maintenance.
    • Coordinate ordering of supplies with appropriate purchasing manager
    • Supervise maintenance employees in day to day operations.
    • Promotes job related training and education for staff and Company.
    • Monitors and maintain machinery, equipment, and grounds in a safe, efficient manner.
    • Oversee outside contractors and vendors to ensure their work is completed safely and accurately.
    • Perform other tasked as directed.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Solid understanding of PLC programming.
    • Experience in PLC and Robotic systems programming experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Electrical/electrician training or apprenticeship.
    • Strong management skills.
    • Self-motivated, organized, responsible and require minimal direction.
    • Must be able to apply good judgment and make decisions independently.
    • Good Project Management skills.
    • Availability in emergency situations.
    • Positive, collaborative, and open-minded attitude.
    • Able to communicate to Managers and Supervisors.
    • Associate degree or equivalent 2 years of college or technical school
    • 5 years of related experience.
