- Enters purchase order data in the inventory control system.
- Accepts, verifies, inspects, and records all deliveries according to policy.
- Records, reports, and returns defective items.
- Processes invoices, supplying necessary data to accounting or other appropriate department for payment and recordkeeping.
- Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
- Handles complaints related to shipments; notifies supervisor of any shipping or receiving issues.
- Comply with government regulations and company safety policies and procedures
- Ability to operate forklifts, loaders, and tender trucks.
- Ability to document, complete, and maintain records not limited to fertilizer and chemical inventory, production maintenance, daily operations, and inventory.
- Responsible for loading and delivering customer products and services that are sold by the location.
- Inform the Location Manager of operational, customer, vendors, or employee issues that may arise.
- Scouting, soil sampling, tissue tests, assisting with orders, field days and training events.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Must be pursuing an agriculture related degree or certification at a 2-year community college or 4-year college or university with the status of freshman, sophomore, junior in good academic standing at time the internship begins.
- Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to travel independently and/or overnight as needed.
- Demonstrates ability to work independently.

- Frequently required to lift 51-70 pounds as needed.
- Frequently exposed and required to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wet, etc.), as well as working at various heights or elevated platforms.
