- Become an expert in community solar and green energy
- Quickly qualify and build rapport with potential new customers
- Recognize customer needs and requirements to improve customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the Solar Energy Associate and Management team to set goals, improve sales tactics, and increase client retainment
- Understand the client's needs and offer an effective solution by matching specific product features and benefits
- Set appointments with clients to review their energy savings report
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and create a welcoming and educational experience
- Continually building product knowledge and refining sales techniques
- Experience in the green energy, solar, or consulting industry is a plus
- High school diploma or GED
- Well organized with the ability to tightly manage a multitude of responsibilities
- Engaging and friendly personality
- Competitive and determined to the extent of achieving performance goals and the desire to continuously improve
- Natural ability to build rapport easily and establish trust, leading to lasting customer relationships
- Ability to work flexible hours
