Executive Director Position:
In this role, you will oversee all operations in Tennessee. Responsibilities include leading the training and development of local staff and volunteers, along with executing NKF's mission by effectively raising funds, engaging key community figures, and ensuring program objectives are met.
The Executive Director collaborates closely with the Regional Vice President (RVP) to lead the local team in achieving financial targets and implementing strategic initiatives. As a member of the region's senior leadership team, fostering productive relationships within NKF departments and leadership is crucial. This position demands effective communication, a growth-oriented mindset, and a commitment to fulfilling NKF's mission through diversity and inclusion advocacy.
Main Responsibilities:
- Fundraising: Develop and implement a robust fundraising strategy, cultivate donor relationships, and drive engagement across all fundraising channels.
- Board Development: Recruit and maintain an active Board of Advisors, ensuring board giving and support.
- Fiscal Oversight: Manage region's financial operations, budget, and reporting in alignment with NKF guidelines.
- Program Support: Collaborate on local program execution and forge partnerships to bolster support.
- Market Planning: Formulate and execute market plans to drive financial success and community involvement.
- Manage and Supervise: Oversee and train local market staff, conduct performance evaluations, and handle staff recruitment and development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of nonprofit fundraising experience (voluntary healthcare exposure preferred)
- Track record of securing major grants, gifts, and corporate partnerships
- Proficiency in virtual program implementation and special events management
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to motivate volunteers, manage budgets, and plan effectively
- Proficient in computer and database operations
