    **GENERAL SUMMARY**

    The Inventory Control Technician is responsible for collecting and entering

    inventory data to ensure accurate inventory levels in company Warehouses/Distribution Centers. This individual may, at times in the absence of the supervisor/manager, act as lead over warehouse/distribution functions.

    Identifies and reports discrepancies and issues relevant to inventory control processes and procedures.

    Collects and enters all finished and raw material inventory data.

    Cycle counts inventory and balances with Warehouse Management System (WMS).

    Researches, verifies and reconciles all inventory discrepancies.

    Balances WMS with internal and/or external systems.

    Coordinates and tracks inbound and/or outbound shipping.

    Assists with inspection and deliveries of materials throughout the company.

    Updates, prepares and maintains distribution and inventory performance reports.

    Troubleshoots data entry process issues and assists in developing systems and procedures to improve overall department accuracies and efficiencies.

    Moves product throughout the warehouse/distribution center, as needed, using a forklift.

    Assists in day-to-day operations as needed, including scheduling of warehouse employees.

    Acts as lead in the absence of supervisor/manager.

    Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Safety Regulations consistently.

    May perform other duties as required.

    **EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**:

    High School Diploma (or Associate's Degree); a minimum of 2 years demonstrated work experience including computer and data entry required.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    The noise level in the work environment is quiet in the office areas but loud and hearing protection is required in the plant. While performing some of the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; and extreme heat or cold. May be exposed to extreme heat and/or cold depending upon the weather conditions when working on the docks or driving a vehicle. Weekend and/or overtime hours may be required
