    $2000 Bonus ($1000 paid at 3 months and $1000 paid at 6 months)

    2:00pm-10:30pm/Monday-Friday

    What you'll be responsible for: As a Maintenance Technician 3, your duties will include performing preventive and on-demand maintenance on a variety of equipment and systems. You'll also assist in general building maintenance, construction projects, and other tasks as required. Additionally, you'll play a key role in ensuring the Fulfillment Center operates smoothly across all shifts by utilizing your expertise in various technical areas.

    Ensuring safety is our top priority, and as part of this role, you'll be expected to promote safe work practices and uphold our safety standards. Your contribution in this position is crucial to Staples Supply Chain's success in serving our customers.

    Your qualifications:

    • Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of various technical systems
    • Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems and perform repairs
    • Experience using vendor manuals for maintenance tasks
    • Willingness to receive training and certification for operating material handling equipment
    • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
    • Adherence to safety protocols and adaptability to warehouse environments

    Requirements:

    Basic Criteria

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum of two years of relevant experience
    • Passing a drug screening where legally permissible
    • Basic proficiency in English
    • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed
    • Ability to work at heights and lift heavy objects
    • Must be at least 18 years old

    Preferred Requirements

    • Educational background in a relevant trade
