    Description

    Bonsai Paper Co. is on a mission to create and support meaningful connections through heartfelt and luxury forms of social expression. We are searching for a dynamic, driven individual to join our marketing team in the Sales & Marketing Assistant position. In this hybrid role, you will work partly on-site and the remaining amount at a location of your discretion. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll have the opportunity to hit the ground running and contribute to various marketing initiatives aimed at promoting our brand and products while gaining valuable experience. This role is an excellent opportunity for those wishing to gain marketing experience as an entry level associate or those transitioning from retail roles.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote Bonsai Paper Co. products and services.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive insights.
    • Help create and maintain marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content.
    • Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and traditional advertising.
    • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
    • Assist with the coordination of promotional events and in-shop activations.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to the team.
    • Handle administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing reports.
    • Divided work locations between our flagship shop and office along with allocated time at a location of your choice.

    Qualifications

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing tools and platforms.
    • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude towards taking on new challenges.

    Preferred

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business or equivilant experience.
    • Previous experience in marketing, sales, retail or related roles is preferred.
    • Passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility is a plus.
    • Knoweledge or experience in the social expression industry is a plus.
