Location: Holyoke, MA (Hybrid – 2 to 3 days onsite)

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a highly organized IT Project Coordinator who will be responsible for working with IT Managers and Technical leads to plan, organize, and coordinate the successful delivery of information technology initiatives.

The IT Project Coordinator will be responsible for these activities and multiple projects simultaneously.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Capture project and initiative requirements and objectives.
Create projects and resource plans.
Coordinate with team members to establish schedules, milestones, and individual tasks.
Utilize project management software such as JIRA to monitor project progress and adherence to schedules.
Arrange and lead project and team meetings.
Document meeting minutes and action items and ensure follow-up.
Track project progress, team performance, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
5 to 10 years of experience as an IT Project Manager or Coordinator.
Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence for project management and reporting.
Demonstrated experience in Agile projects.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (i.e., Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).
Ability to coordinate multiple projects with attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
Adaptable and proactive in identifying and addressing project risks and challenges.
Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with individuals from various technical and non-technical backgrounds.
A customer-focused mindset to ensure that project deliverables meet stakeholder expectations and address business needs effectively.
PMP Certification is a plus.
