    Description

    One of our clients is looking for a Network Operations Analyst to join their team This can either me local to Wichita, Minneapolis, OR Corpus Christi. This is a hybrid schedule, 3 days on site and 2 days working remote. This is going to be a 6-month contract to hire. Ideally wants someone with both network infrastructure background as well as systems infrastructure

    Duration: 6- month contract to hire

    Conversion Salary: $80-$95k

    Position: Infrastructure Operations Analyst

    Location: Wichita HQ, Minneapolis, Corpus Christi

    Onsite Schedule: 3 days in office, 2 work from home

    Start Date: ASAP

    Must-Haves:

    • Experience working with network infrastructure (switches, routers, servers, etc.)
    • Experience working with system infrastructure
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems involving multiple systems, storage, and network components
    • Monitor system & network performance using standard tools, creating baselines, and capacity planning
    • Respond to system & network incidents according to established operating procedures
    • Create and maintain documentation of system & network infrastructure, processes, configurations, etc.
    • Perform move\add\change requests for system and network infrastructure
    • Ensure systems are kept up to date with security patches, antivirus pattern files
    • Maintain relationships with customers and peers to support both on-site and remote infrastructure
    • Participate in projects involving multiple capabilities, customers and vendors

    Pluses:

    • Cisco certifications (CCNA, etc)
    • Server virtualization

    Day-to-Day:

    Insight Global is looking to hire an Infrastructure Operations Analyst for a client of ours in the Wichita, KS area OR Minneapolis area, OR Corpus Christi area. The ideal candidate will have previous experience dealing with system and network infrastructure, dealing with monitoring performance, responding to incidents, creating documentation, etc. This position is a 6-month contract to hire.

    Notes from manager:

    • Ideally wants someone with both network infrastructure background as well as systems infrastructure
    • If we cannot find both, prioritize network background
    • Reasons for ruling resumes out: more desktop focused, really need strong infrastructure background

    Looking for someone who has a couple of years under their belt, not fresh out of school
