    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled Video Editor, based in Los Angeles, CA, to produce high-quality video content that aligns with our clients' brand identities. The ideal candidate will specialize in editing social media ads, have a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a creative mindset. As a contractor, you will work closely with our creative team to develop, edit, and refine video content for various social media platforms.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Edit raw footage into polished, engaging social media ads that meet brand standards and client expectations.
    • Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals, target audience, and desired messaging.
    • Incorporate graphics, special effects, and music to enhance video content.
    • Ensure video content is optimized for various social media platforms and devices.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
    • Work with motion graphics, color grading, and sound design to enhance video quality.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your work, particularly in social media ads. Candidates without a portfolio link in their resume, or without a portfolio, will not be considered.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
    • Familiarity with social media platforms such as social media and their advertising requirements and best practices.
    • Strong knowledge of performance marketing and its application in video content to drive engagement and conversions.
    • Excellent understanding of video editing principles, including storytelling, pacing, and shot selection.
    • Proficient in knowledge of codecs and system settings.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
    • Must be living in Los Angeles, California.
