    Description
    Title: Data Architect

    Location: Fort Worth, TX

    Duration: Direct Hire
    Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

    Job Summary:
    • Collaborating with business domain leaders, product owners, enterprise architects, and key functional leads to deliver top-notch data solutions.
    • Transforming business requirements into clear and user-friendly conceptual and logical data models, ensuring accessibility and understanding for all stakeholders.
    • Creating comprehensive data models to establish a strong foundation for an integrated data and analytics platform.
    • Developing advanced application database data models, designing high-level enterprise data flow diagrams, and maintaining a detailed inventory of data sources to enhance data management within the organization.
    • Defining technical features to enhance performance and build a solid foundation.
    • Collaborating with Data Governance to accurately catalog and outline data lineage for transparency and traceability across the organization.
    • Analyzing resource usage in data solutions and suggesting enhancements for efficiency optimization.
    • Resolving performance issues, tuning, and optimizing data solutions.
    • Adapting to evolving business priorities and technological advancements.
    • Driving innovation and guiding teams towards implementing forward-thinking solutions.
    • Establishing and updating system and architectural documentation.
    • Recommending improvements for technical processes and procedures.
    • Evaluating, prototyping, and supporting new data technologies and platforms.
    What Skills/Qualifications Do You Need?

    Education
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field at a minimum.
    • Preferred Master's degree in computer science or related field.
    Work Experience
    • At least 4 years of practical experience in data and analytics.
    Certifications
    • Data certifications in cloud technologies are highly desirable.
    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    Required
    • Proficiency in Modern Data Architecture techniques and Cloud-based Data Technologies.
    • Extensive experience with modern ETL tools like Data Factory, Matillion, dbt, etc.
    • Extensive expertise in contemporary databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, etc.
    • Proven leadership experience in architecting and building scalable, secure, and resilient data solutions.
    • Strong background in dimensional data modeling techniques for creating a robust data platform for analytics.
    • Practical experience in developing various data models for application database design.
    • Hands-on experience in creating data flow diagrams and maintaining data source inventories.
    • Strong experience in Relational, Data warehouse, Master Data Management, reporting, and analytical technologies.
    • Hands-on experience with cloud data services like Data Lake, SQL, etc.
    • Expertise in data analytics using cloud-based services like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, ThoughtSpot, etc.
    • Proficiency in DevOps principles and processes.
    • Resource optimization experience with a focus on improving performance and cost.
    Preferred
    • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum or SAFe frameworks).
    • Experience with NoSQL database is highly desirable.
    • Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce, Dynamics 365, etc.
    • Knowledge of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
    • Experience in streaming or real-time analytics.
    • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, and/or Git Bash.
    • Experience in financial services industry or other highly regulated sectors.
