    Description

    Data Architect - Food and Beverages - $120,000 - $170,000

    Overview:

    My client, a global leader within the Food and Beverages space are currently recruiting for a number of Data Architects to join their Data Foundation team. You will be responsible for driving the architectural designs and patterns for the firms data environments.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement Azure services for efficient data movement and storage within Data Lakes, Databricks & Data Factories
    • Implement and maintain data governance policies and data quality rules to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and security of data
    • Implement data integration processes, including data mapping and transformation, to ensure that data from different sources can be integrated and used by different applications within the organisation
    • Create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy.
    • Drive data quality across the organization; develop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models and tracking

    Skills & Experience:

    • Strong experience in architecture design using Microsoft Azure Data Services such as Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory & Azure Databricks
    • Knowledge of data architecture and design patterns and the ability to apply them
    • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new business domains and technologies
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conceptualize and articulate ideas clearly and concisely

    Package:

    • $120,000 - $170,000
    • Ideally located in Texas, will consider fully remote
