    OTSI (Object Technology Solutions, Inc.) is looking for a Data Architect
    Role: Data Architect
    Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid/3 days onsite)
    Duration: 12+ Months
    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    The ideal candidate must have experience in client-facing positions and a track record of leading in-depth technical architecture discussions with senior customer executives, Enterprise Architects, IT Management, and Developers to steer Data Platform and Advanced Analytics solutions to fruition.
    • Understand overall data estate, IT and business priorities, and success metrics to design implementation architectures and solutions.
    • Maintain expert-level knowledge and skills to guide customers through Analytics-led Cloud Data transformation.
    • Apply technical expertise to architect solutions meeting business and IT requirements, creating and modernizing Data Platforms, Data Analytics, and AI roadmaps, and ensuring the long-term technical sustainability of new deployments.
    • Develop strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and IT decision-makers, advocating for long-term cloud adoption to enable them to become cloud promoters.
    • Act as a Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, collaborating with the Engineering team to address key obstacles.
    Qualifications:
    Professional Experience: 5 years of success in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications is required.
    Financial and/or international experience is highly desired.
    Relationship Building: Proven history of establishing deep technical relationships with senior IT executives in large or highly strategic accounts. Experience in managing stakeholder relationships to gain consensus on solutions/projects.
    Problem Solving: Ability to resolve customer issues using cloud technologies.
    Collaboration and Communication: Recognized for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts, and ensuring follow-through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams for successful customer project implementation. Skilled in presentations to various audiences.
    Technical:
    Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, database migrations, and technology management is necessary.
    Breadth of technical experience and knowledge in Data Platform Cloud solutions such as SQL, NoSQL Databases, Big Data and Data Warehouses, Advanced Analytics, Data Governance, Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.
    Proficiency in various data estate workloads and expertise in a range of technologies.
    Ability to learn new technologies and understand relevant cloud trends.
    Competitive Landscape: Knowledge of cloud development platforms.
    Partners: Understanding partner ecosystems to leverage partner solutions for customer needs.
    Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
    Certifications in technologies like Cloud, Database, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, and more are preferred.
