    Primary Objective/Purpose of the Job

    The Senior Director, Talent Management - Americas role is pivotal within the Talent Acquisition & Talent Management team, responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing leadership development programs and initiatives that empower and cultivate emerging and current leaders within the organization. Major responsibilities include internal consulting, leadership development and assessment, performance measurement and management utilization. Assesses organizational development needs of operating, business and functional units.

    Responsibilities

    Basic principles of the position include the following:

    • Plays a crucial part in enhancing the leadership capabilities of team members, driving organizational growth, and ensuring a pipeline of skilled leaders for the future.
      • This includes, but is not limited to, defining what good talent looks like, designing and implementing development initiatives that drive high performance and partnering with the business on effective succession planning.
    • This role is essential for nurturing leadership talent within the organization, especially in the context of an international, multicultural, modern, diverse, and fast-paced environment.
    • Dual role which also serves as the strategic Talent Management Partner for the Americas Region, delivering high impact global Organizational Development consultation.
      • Represents the global Talent Management agenda when interacting with the HR Partners for the Americas.
      • Ensures the Americas region talent needs are represented within the Talent Management agenda (leadership assessment, succession planning, development) and future plans.
    • Working in partnership with the Talent Team to ensure best practices are shared and programs are created with a global outlook.
    • Helps support change in the organization - working with HRBPs and Business leaders to understand their change programs, act as an independent perspective, offer alternative opinions. Provide support on assets available to support leaders to drive change.
    • Provide thought leadership on the latest and future thinking of the talent management landscape
    • Applied fiscal responsibility and ensures existing solutions are maximized.
    Knowledge and Skill Required

    The person would ideally have:
    • Proven experience in designing and implementing leadership development programs for varying levels of seniority, in an international, multi-cultural environment.
    • Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a deep understanding of cross-cultural dynamics and a commitment to fostering inclusive leadership.
    • Ability to thrive in an international, multicultural, modern, diverse, and fast-paced organization.
    • Provide leadership and direction to direct reports (as applicable /TBD)
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities
    • Experience designing and implementing effective training and development programs.
    • Excellent communication skills - ability to translate corporate speak to everyday authentic language
    • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in program evaluation, considering cultural diversity.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at all levels, taking cultural differences into account.
    • In-depth knowledge of organizational development (OD) theories, methodologies, and best practices, with a track record of successfully applying OD principles.
    • Demonstrated understanding of leadership theories and practices in a global context.
    • Proficient with Google Suite/ Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
    Future development opportunities:
    • Leadership roles in the talent and learning department or organizational leadership with a global scope.
    • Opportunities to lead larger-scale organizational change and development initiatives in multicultural settings.
    • Oversight of comprehensive OD initiatives, including culture transformation, change management, talent optimization, and organizational effectiveness.
    Experience
    • 8-10 years of HR experience - either or a combination of HR Partner, HR Generalist or Talent roles in a global matrix organization
    • Prior people management experience would be preferred
