Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with an arts-focused non-profit organization in Boston, MA seeking a Staff Accountant.

About The Company:

Our client aims to share the pleasure of inspiration and imagination through public access to artists and the creative process
Established almost 100 years ago, since then they have paved the way for many artists and alternative venues
They aim to provide new experiential learning opportunities for people of all ages through direct experiences with art-making and artists

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

Reviewing supporting documentation from fundraising team
Daily checks within their bank account to assess deposits and record cash deposits
Weekly journal entries
Deposit checks on an as needed basis

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or experience equivalent
Experience with non-profit accounting
Strong experience with Excel
