    Overview:


    This position is responsible for supply chain management and purchase of raw materials, components and services consistent with specified levels of quality, delivery, price and total cost.

    This position will support the Associate Director, Supply Chain & Logistics in managing a network of external manufacturers, maintain plan/schedules, conduct supplier meetings and managing inventory purchases, movements, and reconciliation in ERP (Oracle).

    This position will ensure that all requisitions, purchase orders and inventory movements are managed, documented and administered in compliance with the company procedures and policies.

    The Planner must be comfortable with interacting with various internal departments and external organizations. Must be able to perform Oracle transactions, generate ad-hoc reports as well as manage ad-hoc projects.

    Responsibilities:

    Vendor Management/PlanningMaintain schedules with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMO)

    Manage multiple CMOs on day-to-day basis

    Develop and maintain inventory and CMO Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    In ERP, prepare and distribute requisitions and Purchase Orders

    Generate various Reports/Dashboards as necessary

    Plan assigned products in Oracle MRP

    Provide analytics and data analysis to support supply chain performance goals.

    Support budgeting cycle

    Support monthly Sales & Operations Planning process and other supply related meetings

    Inventory ManagementPerform ERP transactions for inventory receipt and movement

    Manage monthly inventory reconciliation close process

    Inventory Management of assigned products to agreed inventory levels and providing regular estimates and forecasts of planned inventory levels.

    Master Data ManagementUtilize experience with master data management to ensure accurate and consistent data across the supply chain systems.

    Implement and maintain data governance practices to enhance data quality and reliability.

    Support maintenance of Item master and work definitions in ERP

    Creation/maintenance of item formulation and bills of material in ERP

    DSCSA ComplianceDemonstrate expertise in the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) requirements.

    Implement and oversee compliance measures to ensure the traceability and security of pharmaceutical products throughout the supply chain.

    Position Requirements:
    QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

    Proven experience (5 years) in supply chain planning, preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.

    SkillsKnowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes

    Excellent working knowledge of ERP systems and MRP procurement processes. (Oracle preferred).

    Power user in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

    Excellent organizational, analytical and computer skills.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Must be an independent and critical thinker.

    Ability to interact with internal partners as well as oversee multiple 3rd Party Suppliers

    Solid understanding of the commercial drug supply chain from raw material suppliers through distribution

    Skilled in scenario planning, risk / benefit analysis, contingency planning and problem solving

    APICS or other Supply Chain certifications are a plus

    Travel:
    Able to travel up to 10% (Domestic and/or International)
