    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Behavioral Health Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment for individuals undergoing treatment. This position involves guiding clients through the admission process, addressing their inquiries, and helping them adapt to the daily program routine. Acting as a vital link between clients and staff, the Behavioral Health Technician is tasked with monitoring and promptly reporting any alterations in a client's physical or mental well-being. The primary focus lies on overseeing client safety and welfare throughout the program. Successful candidates must possess strong communication abilities, empathy, and a comprehensive understanding of substance abuse and/or mental health principles.

    Requirements:

    • High School Graduate or GED preferred.
    • Experience in substance abuse and/or mental health is advantageous.
