- Leads the planning and implementation of activity services for assigned programs.
- Collaborates as part of the treatment team to define and implement patient treatment goals.
- Provides continuous care, observation, interaction, and role modeling to patients under the supervision of the Nurse Leader.
- Plays a critical role in training and mentoring Mental Health Technicians.
- Experienced in mental health settings, such as residential or clinical environments.
- Proven ability to oversee and direct teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Demonstrated skills in crisis prevention and intervention, offering support during challenging situations.
- Possesses strong leadership qualities, serving as a role model and mentor for others.
- Preferred:Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Recreational Therapy, or a related field.
- Two years of experience in:
- Healthcare setting
- Psychiatric technician role
- Residential treatment/group home work
- Nursing studentswith completed basic nursing fundamentals may also qualify.
- Valid driver's license in the state of Georgia.
- Must have completed Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) and CPR/First Aid certification at the time of application.
- May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
