The job
Our specialist Living division has a long history of building high quality homes for a variety of schemes including shared ownership and private sales as well as acquiring land.
We are seeking a new Site Manager to join the team, to work on our sites around the Herefordshire/Worcestershire/Gloucestershire area.
In this key role you will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of the construction site to achieve successful completion of projects in terms of health & safety, quality, programme and cost.
How You'll ContributeIn these busy roles, you will:
Ensure the correct processes are in place and are being implemented to achieve project completion within cost and time parameters, to the required quality standards, striving for zero defects.
Ensure that Company Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.Ensure that all work undertaken on site complies with the current construction issue drawings, specifications, contract documents and building regulations etc.
Produce short term programmes based around the main project Contract / Construction ProgrammeManage on-site sub-contractors through leading project-based meetings and ensuring sub-contractors are hitting targets
Manage the relationship with the client to the best effect.
Ensure cost effective production in line with budgets by ensuring that the work is undertaken is in full accordance with the cost provision allocated
Ensure your team are fully skilled and trained to do their role, including Health and Safety process and procedures.
Provide strong and visible leadership and demonstrate through your own positive actions your commitment to the company values and ethics.
Who are we looking for?To be successful in these roles you will bring your enthusiasm and determination as well as:
Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager for construction projects up between £1m and up to £25 million in value
Ability to be based on site in and around Worcestershire/Herefordshire/Gloucestershire
Experience as a construction Site Manager within the housebuilding arena
