- Creating detailed, well-structured test cases conducive to automation
- Drawing system or business process flow diagrams
- Using SQL for data analysis and seeding
- Identifying critical regression scenarios
- Participating in root cause analysis and debugging exercises
- Contributing to release/sprint planning activities and daily stand-up meetings
- Engaging in user story development, backlog refinement, and scrum ceremonies to ensure appropriate test criteria are in place

This role plays a crucial part in our evolution. As a member of a Scrum team, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring the delivery of top-notch products. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to grasp business needs, translate them into user stories, devise test plans, perform testing, and guarantee the release of high-quality code. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with a zeal for quality assurance, adept at thriving in an agile setting to meet objectives. Your role involves working closely with the Scrum team to champion innovative, quality, and scalable solutions. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in quality engineering is desirable. Ideally, 1-3 years' experience in an agile environment. Exposure to DevOps is a plus. Proficiency in one or more of the following is preferred: SQL, T-SQL, .NET, C#, Android/iOS, Xamarin, Angular, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
Required Skills:
Capability to troubleshoot and implement solutions. Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC). Understanding of testing methodologies, techniques, and tools. Self-motivated with a commitment to meeting deadlines without compromising quality. Proficient in writing test cases, executing tests, and tracking bugs. Knowledge of automation tools and test automation capabilities. Ability to grasp and align with our SDLC, business processes, and strategy. Acquaintance with Agile Development Methodology (SCRUM). Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical team members and clients.
