    Description

    Senior Estimator/Estimating Manager Position at Landmark Excavating

    Landmark Excavating, a Utah-based excavating company specializing in a wide range of projects, is seeking a seasoned Senior Estimator to join our team. We pride ourselves on our diverse portfolio, including public work, UDOT roadways, private roadways, residential subdivisions, city parks, site work/prep, and all underground utilities. We are currently engaged in projects across Salt Lake County, Wasatch County, and Utah County.

    Key Responsibilities As a Senior Estimator, you will report directly to the VP of Estimating. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Identifying, bidding, and winning projects
    • Representing Landmark Excavating professionally to build lasting client relationships and negotiate contracts/work
    • Exploring and securing alternative sources of work
    • Handing off awarded projects to the Project Management team with complete project scope/expectation
    • Assisting Project Managers in preparing change orders
    • Preparing marketing material for potential clients and prequalification packets
    • Assisting Project Management and Field Teams as needed to complete projects

    Qualifications The ideal candidate should have:

    • Bid2Win Experience
    • At least 4 years experience in Heavy Civil Construction
    • Experience managing employees
    • Experience with Underground Utilities
    • Self-motivated and hard-working attitude

    Experience

    • Heavy Civil Construction: 4 years (Preferred)
    • Underground Utilities: 1 year (Preferred)

    License/Certification
