    Bach Team is a multi-faceted residential development company formed in 2006. Bach Team includes the following group of companies:
    Bach Homes, Bach Land and Development, The Land Group, Bach Investments, and FourSite Property Management.

    Bach has been nominated for several prestigious awards related to its residential development activities, including Development of the Year as well as the coveted Property of Excellence Award.

    Bach's goal is to maintain its reputation for excellence and quality by employing the most qualified people and encouraging them (and giving them the tools necessary) to do the best job possible.

    Summary

    Because of its sustained growth, Bach is expanding its development team to pursue and construct several highly desirable multi-family projects.

    Accordingly, Bach is looking for a Construction Estimator / Purchaser who will buy-out multiple apartment/townhome projects with typically units each.

    This is an in-office position, and will not be performed remotely.


    Duties/Responsibilities:
    Assemble bid packages with all construction documents.
    Obtain and qualify all bids from subcontractors.
    Administer all contracts with subcontractors.
    Administer, negotiate, and implement all change order requests.
    Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.

    Develops and maintains good working relationships with a variety of people, including owners, managers, designers, supervisors, tradespersons, and craft workers.

    Infrequent travel may be required.
    Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Requirements:
    Required Skills/Abilities

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Conflict-resolution skills.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and/or related software.
    Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
    Ability to read construction drawings and understand industry scopes of work.

    Education and Experience
    College Degree or related experience in Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.
    At least 2 of construction experience required. Preferably with multi-family construction.


    Physical Requirements:


    Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather (this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching).

    Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
    Exposure to typical construction site dangers.
    Travel 10-15%
