- Assemble bid packages with all construction documents.
- Obtain and qualify all bids from subcontractors.
- Administer all contracts with subcontractors.
- Administer, negotiate, and implement all change order requests.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.
- Develops and maintains good working relationships with a variety of people, including owners, managers, designers, supervisors, tradespersons, and craft workers.
- Infrequent travel may be required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and/or related software.
- Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
- Ability to read construction drawings and understand industry scopes of work.
- College Degree or related experience in Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.
- At least 2 of construction experience required. Preferably with multi-family construction.
- Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather (this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching).
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
- Exposure to typical construction site dangers.
- Travel 10-15%
