We are excited to offer a new opportunity for a Senior FX Artist to work on a contract basis at our studio in Pennsburg, PA, with the possibility of relocation to our studio in Stuttgart, Germany.


Job Requirements:


  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as an FX Artist in a production environment
  • Proficient in Houdini and Maya
  • Strong creative and artistic skills
  • Extensive experience creating various FX simulations, such as water, smoke, fire, destruction, and supernatural effects
  • Knowledge of generic simulation engines
  • Understanding of physics, realistic motion, and natural phenomena at different scales
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to solving technical issues
  • Experience with compositing, shading, scripting, and programming is a plus

Responsibilities:


  • Design and produce a wide range of realistic visual effects, including destruction, smoke, fire, water, and supernatural elements
  • Incorporate feedback from clients and supervisors to revise simulations in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the Lighting team to seamlessly integrate FX elements
  • Work with the FX Supervisor and Leads to achieve the desired level of aesthetic quality and technical accuracy
