Nursing Specialist (m/f/d) School Placement in Newport

The training programs for elderly, medical and pediatric care have been merged. Trainees now complete a joint, comprehensive training program for all care areas in the first two years. In the third year, they can choose to continue this generalist training and obtain the qualification of a nursing specialist or focus on caring for elderly people or children and obtain a qualification as a geriatric nurse or pediatric nurse. In addition, a nursing education can also be completed through a university degree program.

The nursing school ensures theoretical and practical instruction for the training according to § 2 PflAPrV.

Duration

  • 3 years
  • approx. 2100 units of theory
  • 2500 practical hours in a healthcare setting
Funding

If you have been working in the nursing field without a professional qualification for a long time, you can complete the training without any loss of salary.
