    Job Summary/Basic Functions

    This position will support the EKU Dual Credit Office by answering general email inquiries to the main dual credit email, assisting in-person customers on occasion, data entry, filing, and miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned. General office knowledge and customer service skills are preferred.

    Strong communication and customer service skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive.

  • Currently enrolled as an EKU student.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

    • Job Duties:

  • 30% - Customer Service - The student assistant will provide customer service to prospective and current dual credit students, program partners, and EKU faculty and staff via the dual credit email, and walk-ins on occasion. Additionally, under the supervision of full-time staff, the student assistant will regularly perform outreach to program partners and students to provide updates regarding the admissions and enrollment processes. - (Essential)
  • 50% - Special Projects as Assigned - The student assistant will collaborate with department full-time staff on projects that will improve customer service, efficiency, and program offerings. Projects will generally be presented to the student assistant, but there is the opportunity for the student assistant to present their ideas for projects to the department's full-time staff. - (Essential)
  • 20% - Other Departmental Support - The student assistant will collaborate with department full-time staff to prepare for events, initiatives, and meetings. Additionally, the student assistant may be asked on occasion to perform administrative tasks for other departments in Enrollment Management. - (Essential)
