    Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Associate / Full Professor Tenure/Tenure Track-College of Nursing at its Detroit campus location.

    Essential functions (job duties):
    We are searching a senior level Associate or Full Professor for the College of Nursing. This is a Tenured/Tenure Track appointment at our Detroit campus location.

    Essential Functions (Job Duties):

    • Develop and maintain a strong program of research
    • Seek external grant funding
    • Publish in nationally recognized journals
    • Prepare, teach and evaluate assigned courses
    • Use teaching strategies appropriate to learning needs
    • Participate in College and University committees
    • Perform related duties as assigned

    Unique duties:

    Qualifications:

    • PhD required graduate degree in nursing required
    • Previous teaching experience at baccalaureate or higher degree level
    • Strong program of externally funded research
