Schmitt Engineering is a medium-sized company headquartered in Erlangen. With many years of engineering expertise in various industries, we are a partner to the industry. Our activities cover the entire process chain from planning and project management to development and design, as well as production, assembly, and commissioning.

Your tasks:

  • Specification and integration of hardware components including control systems, motor controllers, power supplies, sensors, and actuators (motors)
  • Assembly and commissioning of prototypes, including wiring
  • Parameterization of motor controllers for longitudinal and rotational axes
  • Design and programming of PLC axis systems
  • Conducting function tests and measurements, including documentation

Your profile:

  • Completed degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification
  • Knowledge in the areas of drive technology, control engineering, measurement technology, and circuit technology
  • Experience with motor controllers
  • Fluent in German and good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
