    We are looking fora Construction Project Accountant to join our teamYou will be responsible for preparingand analyzing financial records for our company.


    Responsibilities:
    Providing project managers and clients with timely financial reports and budgets, as well as project forecasts

    Preparing pre-billing reports for project managers to review.

    Preparing actual costs, working capital, and tax reports.

    Monitoring receivable income and supporting project managers with collections.

    Issuing invoices and purchase orders, as well as paying consultant, subcontractor, vendor, and supplier bills.

    Ensuring a steady cash flow by generating, auditing, and sending invoices in a timely manner.

    Updating contracts according to client requirements and reporting associated budget amendments.


    Perform variety of accounting tasks related to the processing and maintenance of AIA G702, G703, and other forms required on a project.

    Coordinates, reviews, and analyzes monthly progress billing invoices for construction to ensure billing accuracy, fee reconciliation and ledger balance.

    Responsible for overall timely and accurate invoicing.

    Meet with PMs to review draft invoices and discuss project status.

    Maintain budgets (accurate accounting of project costs vs. project billings)


    Qualifications:
    A thorough knowledge and background in the construction industry.

    Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting/finance within construction

    Advanced knowledge of software systems including Procore, CMiC or similar accounting system and Excel (strongly preferred)

    Works well in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines

    Good written and verbal communication skills

    Must demonstrate a high level of accuracy and consistent work performance.
