    Job Overview

    Joining the team as a Bloomingdale's Restaurant Shift Lead at Colada Shop means being a key player in creating an exceptional customer experience and upholding our mission to stand out as a one-of-a-kind store. As a Shift Lead, you'll lead a team to ensure smooth operations, maintain high standards, and cultivate a positive environment. Your role also involves supporting the team to exceed business objectives.

    Essential Functions

    Customer Service:

    • Foster a strong work culture and uphold Bloomingdale's and Colada Shop service standards.
    • Act as a brand ambassador and embody the Colada Shop ethos both internally and externally.
    • Support the team in delivering exceptional customer service consistently.

    Operations:

    • Open or close the storefront as needed and complete relevant checklists.
    • Handle all POS functions efficiently and accurately.
    • Complete daily shift reports, including financial reports and staff performance evaluations.
    • Ensure the store is clean, communicates equipment issues, and maintains safety protocols.
    • Monitor inventory, restock supplies, and follow all relevant policies and regulations.
    • Assist in team training and onboarding processes.
    • Support both front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH) operations as required.
    • Monitor team performance and make scheduling adjustments based on business needs.

    Qualifications and Competencies

    • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
    • 1-2 years of direct experience in a similar role.
    • Hold necessary licenses or certifications as per state or local requirements.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
    • Resourceful, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities.
    • Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.

    Essential Physical Requirements

    • Prolonged periods of standing and walking, occasional bending and lifting up to 25lbs.
    • Frequent use of technology and ability to operate equipment like cash registers.
