    Job Title: HVAC Technical Trainer for Residential and Light Commercial Service Technicians.

    Job Overview:

    As an HVAC Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs to individuals and groups within the HVAC industry. You will ensure that participants receive comprehensive instruction on HVAC systems, equipment, installation techniques, maintenance procedures, troubleshooting methods, and safety protocols.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Curriculum Development: Design and develop training materials, modules, and curriculum based on industry standards, best practices, and technological advancements in HVAC systems.
    • Training Delivery: Conduct in-person and telephone training sessions, workshops, and seminars for HVAC field technicians.
    • Technical Instruction: Provide hands-on demonstrations and technical instruction on HVAC equipment operation, installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting techniques.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, Education, or related field.
    • Professional certifications in HVAC systems, such as NATE (North American Technician Excellence), EPA 608, or others, preferred.
    • Extensive hands-on experience in the HVAC industry, including installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
    • Proven experience in designing and delivering technical training programs, preferably in the HVAC field.
    • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
    • Proficiency in instructional design, training delivery techniques, and adult learning principles.
    • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms is advantageous.
